Facility Manager - Entertainment Industry at Smooth Promotions

Job Description:

• Smooth Promotions is seeking a dedicated and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our entertainment venues.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in facility management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for the entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Maintenance

• Oversee routine maintenance and repairs of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards

Event Planning

• Coordinate facility setups for events, including layout, equipment, and support services.
• Work with event planners to ensure all venue requirements are met.

Budget Management

• Develop and manage the facility budget, including maintenance, repairs, and operational costs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

Vendor management

• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers for maintenance, cleaning, and event support.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure services meet organizational standards.

Safety and Compliance

• Implement and monitor safety protocols, ensuring a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Team Leadership

• Supervise facility staff and provide training and development opportunities.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among the facility team.

Emergency Preparedness

• Develop and implement emergency response plans for various scenarios (fire, evacuation, etc.).
• Conduct regular drills and training sessions to ensure readiness.

Sustainability Initiatives

• Promote and implement sustainability practices within facility operations.
• Monitor energy consumption and waste management efforts.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in facility management, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
