    Facility Manager

    Job description

    • We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager/Technical Manager to oversee the maintenance and management of MEP facilities.
    • The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in maintaining facilities, including pumps, HVAC, and electrical systems.
    • The candidate should have strong supervisory skills, be well-educated, be capable of writing detailed reports, be presentable, and be able to engage clients effectively.

    Responsibilities

    Facility Maintenance:

    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facility systems, including pumps, electrical wiring, HVAC systems, and plumbing.
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the optimal performance of all facility equipment.

    Technical Management:

    • Supervise technical staff and contractors, providing guidance and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.

    Reporting and Documentation:

    • Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports on facility operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents or issues.
    • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible for reference and compliance purposes.

    Client Engagement:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding facility-related matters.
    • Communicate effectively with clients to address their concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction with facility services.

    Compliance and Safety:

    • Ensure all facility operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.

    Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage the facility maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
    • Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.

    Qualification

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facility management, including the maintenance of pumps, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
    • Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
    • Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to prepare detailed reports and documentation.
    • Presentable and professional demeanor with strong client engagement skills.
    • Relevant Training & Certification
    • Minimum of HND
