Facility / Maintenance Officer at Fitplus Healthcare

Job Summary

• We are looking for a proactive and skilled Facility / Maintenance Officer to join our team and ensure our facilities are always in excellent working condition.
• The Facility / Maintenance Officer is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, maintenance, and smooth operation of Fitness+ gym facilities and equipment.
• This role ensures all areas are safe, clean, and functioning optimally to support an outstanding member experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of gym equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical components.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance and timely repairs on gym machinery, lighting, and building infrastructure.
• Oversee cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all workout areas, locker rooms, and common spaces.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.
• Coordinate with external vendors and technicians for specialized repairs and servicing.
• Respond quickly to urgent maintenance requests or safety hazards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
• Support setup and maintenance for special classes, events, or new equipment installations.
• Manage inventory of tools, cleaning supplies, and replacement parts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in facility maintenance or a similar role (experience in a fitness or hospitality setting is a plus).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix common issues with gym equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed.
