Facilities Maintenance Manager at Havana Specialist Hospital

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance department, ensuring efficient processes and adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Develop, update, and implement maintenance operating procedures.
• Lead capacity-building initiatives within the department.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels for maintenance-related concerns.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise prompt and efficient repairs and maintenance of company equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report daily activities.
• Monitor and reduce repair and maintenance costs through strict supervision and process optimization.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of generator sets and power systems.
• Minimize energy expenditure on electricity bills across various power sources.
• Introduce and implement new technology to optimize power generation systems, ensuring 24/7 electricity availability.
• Track equipment inventory and expenses.
• Conduct facility and equipment inspections, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Investigate complaints, accidents, and incidents, implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
• Manage departmental budgets and procurement processes.
• Maintain and improve quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry best practices through workshops, publications, and professional networking.
• Participate actively in required training, orientation, meetings, and programs.
• Ensure maintenance staff acquire and utilize up-to-date job-related skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in maintenance management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Prior experience in the medical field is an advantage.
