Supervise and make requisitions for materials needed for different projects or jobs and prepare monthly chargeback of work done.
Fabricate and install/fix equipment like heat exchangers, dryers and other processing equipment.
Supervise the fabrication, machinist workshop and spare production.
Design and construct any of the engineering projects that relate to fabrication.
Ensure the turner machine and other tools and equipment are in good working condition.
Perform any other job-related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
BSc / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a minimum of three (3) years of experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:
Have a good working knowledge of lathe, milling and shaping machines.
Have the ability to read engineering drawings in detail and be computer literate.
