Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for experienced Nurse Midwives at Regina Caeli Specialist Hospital, Awka.
• The role involves providing comprehensive prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care, managing labor and childbirth, and ensuring the health and wellbeing of mothers and newborns.
• Nurse Midwives will also educate patients on maternal and neonatal care, collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate medical records.
• The candidate will play a key role in offering compassionate and culturally sensitive care to patients.

Qualifications

• Proficient in maternal and newborn care, labor management, and postnatal support
• Knowledge of obstetric emergencies and ability to respond effectively
• Strong communication, patient education, and counseling skills
• Skilled in record-keeping and medical documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Nursing Licensure and Midwifery certification are required
• Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred
