Executive Chef at Terawork

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Chef located in Benin City.
• The Executive Chef will be responsible for managing the kitchen staff, creating and updating the menu, ensuring food quality and consistency, maintaining inventory, and adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
• The Executive Chef will also handle food cost management, staff training and development, and collaborate with other departments to enhance guest satisfaction and dining experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role
• Expertise in various culinary techniques, menu planning, and recipe development
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Must possess a valid international passport
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proven expertise in preparing local and international cuisine
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Ability to manage food inventory and control costs
• Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field is a plus
• Exceptional creativity and passion for culinary arts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
