Estimating Support Officer at Global Profilers

Position Summary

• The Estimating Support will assist in developing and facilitating the proposal prep process for specific clients/sponsors including take offs, bid prep, and bidding small projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assisting in Take offs of projects
• Assisting in all the bid preparation functions
• Drafting narratives tying project components together; packaging and assisting in presenting the proposal to the sponsoring agency
• Collaborating with the Operations and Finance to evaluate project performance and to recommend refinements and improvements of all components of proposals.
• Supporting other Business Development Team members as needed.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Performing other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Science, or related discipline; Associate’s degree and related experience also considered
• At least one year experience in industry business development and/or research and development arena; Must have experience supporting the development of at least five proposals or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
