    EORE Community Volunteers

    Location: MMC and JERE LGA

    Responsibilities
    Duties and Responsibility

    • Mobilize community members for group EORE session.
    • Conduct Face-to-Face EORE session for at risk and vulnerable persons/groups. 
    • Conduct EORE audio session for at risk and vulnerable individuals within implementing communities. 
    • Conduct quarterly safety audit to identify, Suspected Hazardous areas, confirmed hazardous areas, sighting of EO, accidents and victims of EO.
    • Supervise, and mentor established EORE safety clubs peer to peer EORE activity in and out of schools within implementing communities.
    • Serve as focal point to receive, identify and report Explosive Ordinance accidents and victims to TBSF through established reporting mechanisms. 
    • Work with community leaders to establish collaboration between project team and community leadership.
    • Participate in all project activities within the community. 
    • Play a key role in the mobilization of community respondents for the survey.
    • Conduct other duties that may be assigned related to implementation of the program in the implementation sites.

    Desirable skills:

    • Good writing and communication skills.
    • Must be organized and practical.
    • Must be Fluent in Hausa and Kanuri.
    • Must be Friendly and understand child safeguarding 
    • Must be an indigene and reside in any of the implementing communities in Dikwa Local Government Area. 
    • Must have adequate knowledge of risk-awareness methodologies.
    • Must be organized and practical.
    • Ability and skills to work with and mentor children’s groups.
