Jewel Sarah Memorial School, located in Port Harcourt, is seeking a highly competent Secondary School English and Literature Teacher. You will develop students' communication skills, foster critical thinking, and uphold the school's high moral standards in an engaging, ICT-integrated learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons in English Language and Literature for the secondary section.
Prepare comprehensive schemes of work, lesson notes, and teaching aids.
Administer, grade, and record continuous assessments and end-of-term examinations.
Encourage creativity, curiosity, and analytical thinking among learners.
Requirements:
Qualification: A degree in English Language or an equivalent qualification (BA, BSc, or BEd).
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience in the secondary section.
Proven competence in teaching and ensuring an excellent grasp of the subject by learners.
Passion for education with a strong moral standard.
Strong communication skills and a good working knowledge of ICT in education.
