    Electrical Technician

    The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety across the facility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components.
    • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machines, panels, motors, and production equipment.
    • Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
    • Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
    • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
    • Troubleshoot PLCs, control systems, and automation equipment (if applicable).
    • Respond promptly to electrical emergencies to minimize operational disruptions.
    • Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations.
    • Recommend improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • OND/HND/B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in electrical maintenance (industrial or manufacturing preferred).
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, motors, and control panels.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
    • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
