Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and instrumentation issues.
• Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure optimal system performance.
• Document all maintenance and repair work accurately.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain electrical instrumentation systems for manufacturing industry.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in the workplace.
• Troubleshoot issues related to PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, transformers, and VFDs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes through efficient use of electrical equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Electrical, Diploma in Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication
• Minimum of 8years of experience in electrical instrumentation.
• Certification in instrumentation and control systems is a plus.
• Candidates residing within close proximity such as kaduna, Abuja and Niger State will be given priority consideration.

Core Competencies:

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
