Job Summary

The Electrical Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and instrumentation equipment within our facility. Your expertise in electrical systems and instrumentation technology will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment, while upholding the highest standards of housekeeping and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Systems: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions to ensure uninterrupted power supply to machinery and equipment.
• Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and instrumentation systems, including switches, motors, control panels, and sensors, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
• Instrumentation: Calibrate, repair, and maintain various instrumentation devices such as sensors, meters, and controllers. Ensure accurate measurement and control of process variables.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to electrical and instrumentation emergencies, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical and instrumentation systems. Conduct regular inspections and tests to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to electrical safety protocols and regulations. Conduct safety assessments and implement measures to prevent electrical hazards.
• Housekeeping and GMP: Maintain clean and organized work areas, following established housekeeping protocols and GMP guidelines. Properly handle and dispose of electrical and instrumentation-related waste materials.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, calibration procedures, and inventory. Prepare accurate reports and documentation as required.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and external vendors for specialized repairs and equipment upgrades. Provide technical support and training to other staff members as needed.
