Electrical Engineer - Solar Energy Systems at Insiteful Solutions

Job Summary

• Our client, a leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with proven experience in the design, development, and implementation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. 
• This role involves a comprehensive approach to system engineering including site assessment, electrical design, system optimization, and performance analysis. 
• The ideal candidate will ensure maximum energy efficiency, regulatory compliance, and safety while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver turnkey solar solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative solar energy systems.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar PV systems and components.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, contractors, and clients to determine system specifications and application needs.
• Perform technical evaluations, including system modeling, simulations, and data analysis.
• Monitor and assess system performance, identifying areas for improvement and corrective action.
• Provide technical documentation and support, including research and development initiatives.

Requirements and Skills

• Demonstrated expertise in solar system design and installation.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Hands-on experience with solar modules, mounting systems, and performance testing tools.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork capabilities.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally for project implementation and review.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience in solar energy system engineering.
• Additional certifications in solar PV or electrical systems are advantageous.
