Job Summary:

• The company is looking to hire an Electrical Engineer who will be responsible for preparation of workshop drawings and guided execution on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• In addition to being able to excellently perform the duties of a level 4 Electrical Engineer, carry out the following responsibilities.
• Develop project report following site inspections
• Provide support in the preparation of materials technical submittals and materials quantification and variations.
• Provide technical guidance to subcontractors/vendors as required, reading and interpretation of working drawings.

OHSE Responsibilities

• Drive in conformance with health & safety rules within your teams.
• Perform work safely to protect you and others from harm.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment, obeying safety signs and safely using work tools.
• Not tampering with or misusing safety equipment, devices or any other company property.
• Report any identified defects and potential hazards in the workplace.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Relevant certifications or professional body memberships are an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
• Knowledge of AutoCad and electrical engineering and design including softwares such as dialux, ecodial, etc.
• Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving skills
• Effective team player, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work as required to meet tight deadlines.
