Facility Manager at a Reputable Company

Job Summary

Our Company is seeking a competent and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the company’s facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that the building, equipment, utilities, and general environment are maintained to the highest standards to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and daily operations of the facility, including electrical systems, plumbing, air conditioning, and other equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Supervise facility support staff, technicians, and external service providers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire prevention, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor facility expenses, maintenance budgets, and inventory of supplies.
• Identify and promptly resolve maintenance issues and operational faults.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and ensure cleanliness, functionality, and proper upkeep of the premises.
• Coordinate repairs, renovations, and equipment servicing.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and facility-related expenses.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of essential utilities and facility systems.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in facility management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance, electrical systems, plumbing, and general facility operations.
• Good organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage vendors, contractors, and maintenance personnel effectively.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond promptly to facility emergencies.
• Experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
