Job Summary

• The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
• The successful candidate will ensure compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, safety regulations, and client requirements while delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, power distribution networks, and control systems.
• Prepare electrical drawings, load calculations, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Supervise electrical installations, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved engineering standards and safety regulations.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective corrective actions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, and clients throughout project execution.
• Prepare project reports, cost estimates, technical proposals, and material specifications.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance, HSE policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support project planning, execution, monitoring, and timely project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng. / B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Professional certification and membership with relevant engineering bodies (e.g., COREN, NSE) is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design standards, power systems, and industrial electrical installations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, MS Office, and other relevant engineering software.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
