E&I Lead M/F at Ponticelli Nigeria

Position Summary

MAIN MISSION: Lead all activities related to the Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecom (EIT) scope for an onshore project, from construction engineering to construction and commissioning on site.

Technical Coordination and Project Management

• Monitor procurement activities related to EIT;
• Accountable for EIT material traceability with MTracker;
• Manage potential subcontractors;
• Ensure compliance with deadlines, costs, and quality of technical deliverables;

Construction Engineering

• Verify Detailed Engineering consistency and quality;
• Issuance of Technical Queries;
• Review E&I Method Statement from E&I Subcontractor;
• Supervise the Subcontractor Team regarding technical preparation of works;
• Implement, manage, and lead the Job Cards system preparation for the EIT scope with Job Cards done by the subcontractor;
• Accountable for Construction Engineering progress;
• Provide input to Planning;
• Participate in Construction Engineering coordination;

Construction Activities

• Manage resources, planning, and progress while reporting to the Project Construction Manager;
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, quality procedures, and technical specifications;

Commissioning Engineering

• Oversee the EIT commissioning engineering activity;
• System and subsystem review (provide inputs if necessary);
• Commissioning procedures review;
• Attend meetings with COMPANY and COM Engineering Subcontractor;
• Oversee and manage the EIT subcontractors and commissioning activity at site;
• Follow commissioning execution schedule (provide input to Planning Level 4);
• Review and approve EIT commissioning check sheets.

Profile Wanted

• Construction Manager / Commissioning Manager / Project - Manager experience in EIT (10 years);
• Proven experience in Oil & Gas projects;
• Skills in project management, technical coordination, and team leadership;
• Proficiency in site project control tools (Job Cards, planning, reporting);
• Proficiency in English required;
• Familiarity with ICAPS software;
• Availability for mobilization to Nigeria – PHC from November 2025 to May 2026.
