Job Summary

• The E-Commerce & Retail Manager will be responsible for developing and driving the company's online and physical retail operations, expanding sales channels, increasing revenue, and ensuring efficient retail operations.
• The role will oversee e-commerce platforms, retail outlets, customer acquisition, inventory management, order fulfilment, and the customer experience to achieve sustainable business growth and profitability..

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's e-commerce and retail strategy to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and profitability.
• Manage the company's online sales channels, including website, social commerce, online marketplaces, and other digital retail platforms.
• Identify and develop new retail opportunities, sales channels, partnerships, and distribution networks to expand market reach.
• Oversee the operations and performance of company-owned retail outlets, ensuring sales targets, operational standards, and customer service expectations are achieved.
• Drive product visibility, merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional activities across online and physical retail channels.
• Manage inventory planning, stock availability, replenishment, and stock rotation to minimise stock-outs, wastage, and losses, particularly for perishable products.
• Ensure efficient order processing, payment confirmation, delivery coordination, and proper cold-chain handling of products.
• Monitor sales performance, revenue, margins, operating costs, and other key business indicators across all retail channels.
• Develop strategies to attract new customers, retain existing customers, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the retail and e-commerce team to achieve agreed business targets.
• Prepare periodic business performance reports, analyse sales trends, and recommend strategies for improved growth and profitability.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related discipline.
• 7 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, retail management, or commercial operations, preferably within FMCG, food processing, or consumer goods.
• Proven experience managing online sales platforms and physical retail operations.
• Demonstrated ability to grow sales, develop new business channels, and manage revenue targets.
• Good understanding of inventory management, order fulfilment, logistics, and retail operations.
• Knowledge of digital commerce, online customer acquisition, and sales analytics.
• Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant e-commerce or retail management systems.
