    Drivers Administration Manager

    KEY PURPOSE OF JOB:

    • To provide strategic administrative support to TSL operations through the effective delivery of driver management services in the areas of recruitment, training and benefit administration.
    • Develop and maintain driver’s admin policies, procedures and processes in line with TSL’s vision and mission.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepare a yearly budget for management approval and prudently manage resources within those budget guidelines according to company policy and within ethical corporate governance guidelines
    • Drive the execution of the DA strategy across the DA team.
    • Provision of weekly driver report and drivers performance tracking
    • .Provision of highly skilled pool of driver for operational activities.
    • Ensure that all drivers’ disciplinary actions are in accordance with the Company’s disciplinary procedure and that all erring drivers are sanctioned.
    • Provide assistance and support to drivers as relates to safe delivery of customer order and truck turnaround.
    • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and security regulations and policies.
    • Build and lead an effective and cohesive DM team.

    The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

    • Personnel Administration
    • Logistics and transport operations
    • Health & Safety awareness
    • An understanding of relevant legislation, procedures and policies.

    Education

    • A good University degree or HND  or equivalent years of experience in a similar role.

    Experience: 

    • Minimum of coleective 7 years experience inclusive of 3-4 years Mangerial/Supervisory experience
