Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Driver to support various transport-related responsibilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and safe transportation of clients and staff, primarily for marketing events, presentations, and other essential business functions.
The ideal candidate should exhibit strong communication skills and prioritize safety while contributing to the smooth execution of company operations.
Responsibilities
Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders
Book car wash and detailing services to maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness of the car
Perform daily inspections on the assigned vehicle, at the beginning and end of each work day.
Ascertain that the car is properly cleaned and maintained and that any need for repairs is outlined and
reported timeously.
Use standard maps or the GPS to map safe routes to destinations, ensuring that timelines are met.
Safely drive assigned office vehicles by following set rules and regulations.
Perform both preventative and regular maintenance on assigned vehicles, and ensure that proper
detailing is performed.
Driving the company pool cars for sales team presentations, site inspections and allocations
Attending to other staff driving request
Any other task that may be assigned by the Management
Key Requirements
Minimum academic qualification of an S.S.C.E / OND
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Two to three years of proven experience as a Driver
Good knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods around Lagos
Familiarity with GPS devices
Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
Availability to occasionally take weekend shifts
A polite and professional disposition
Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
