Job Summary

The Dispatch Rider is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery and collection of documents, parcels, products, and other company items. The role involves ensuring that deliveries are completed accurately while maintaining excellent customer service and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect parcels, documents, and other items to and from designated locations.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods according to assigned schedules.
• Obtain delivery acknowledgements, signatures, and relevant documentation from recipients.
• Verify items before dispatch to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain proper records of deliveries, collections, fuel usage, and mileage.
• Ensure the assigned motorcycle is clean, functional, and properly maintained.
• Conduct routine inspections and promptly report mechanical faults or damages.
• Comply with all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
• Handle company property and customers\' items with care and professionalism.
• Assist with administrative errands such as bank transactions, document submissions, and procurement-related deliveries when required.
• Report delivery issues, delays, accidents, or security concerns immediately.
• Maintain confidentiality of company and customer information.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC qualification.
• Valid Rider\'s Permit and driver\'s license.
• Proven experience as a dispatch rider, courier, or similar role.
• Must reside within Ikeja and its environs
• Good knowledge of local routes and road networks.
• Ability to read maps and use GPS navigation tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
• Physically fit and able to ride for extended periods.
