Dispatch Rider at Eden Solutions and Resources

Job Brief:

We are looking to hire a faithful dispatch rider with a team spirit to work towards achieving the organizational objectives.

Dispatch rider duties:

• Delivering items to customers by verifying orders.
• Responsible for contacting customers to verify delivery address.
• Keeps customers informed on available goods.
• Rides company motorcycle to fulfill official duties.
• Responsible for updating the driver’s logbook on a daily basis with the required information.
• Ensure the assigned motorcycle documents are updated and valid.
• Ensure the motorcycle is cleaned routinely.
• Record information such as items received and delivered.
• Dispatch riders sign for the package on the collection and get an appropriate person to sign for it upon delivery.
• Plan and follow the most efficient route for making deliveries.

Requirements:

• A minimum of SSCE
• Proven experience as a dispatch rider
• Valid rider’s card
• Familiarity with relevant routes
• Ability to communicate
• Organizational and multitasking abilities
• Must be polite and get along with people
• Good numeracy skills for delivery and expenses records
