Job Description

• The Director Information Communication Technology is responsible to the Rector for the overall supervision of the internet of the Institution, taking charge of the general administration of the Department, taking charge of Computer and data processing development implementation.
• Liaising with ICT Companies, Universities, Polytechnics, Regulatory and International Agencies, providing advice on the General communication network of the institution and performing other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Applicants must possess B.Sc. / HND in Computer Science from a recognized Institution of higher leaming and must have acquired at least twenty (20) years post academic qualification cognate experience or a Master's Degree, with Eighteen (18) years post academic qualification cognate experience or a Doctorate Degree with Fifteen (15) years post qualification cognate experience.
• Must also be a registered Member of relevant professional bodies e.g., Computer Professional Registration Council.
• Evidence of community service will be an added advantage.

The Person:

• The Director Information Communication Technology must be a person of high integrity who demonstrate transparency in public and private lives and likely to command the respect and loyalty of staff of the Polytechnic.
• They must also be receptive to new ideas and willing to translate them into action in line with the visions and missions of the Polytechnic.

Terms of Appointment

• Applicants must not be more than 50 years of age (fresh appointment) at the time he/she assumes duty.
• The salary of the position is CONTEDISS 15 while other terms and conditions of appointment are as provided by the conditions of service of the Federal Polytechnics in Nigeria and as may be determined from time to time by the Federal Government of Nigeris or the Governing Council of the Polytechnic.
