DevOps / Service Operations Manager at Reliance HMO

The Role

• This role is tasked with leading a team of DevOps Engineers both technically and otherwise. The role interacts with other stakeholders and engineering managers to drive expectations, strategy and consistent development of the product. you will oversee all aspects of DevOps and IT Services. 

Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities will include:

• Supervising daily operations of network and server infrastructure 
• Overseeing and driving our incident management process 
• Hiring your team to enable 24x7 service operations 
• Work closely with our software engineers to: 
• Automate DevOps systems to improve our efficiency of code delivery 
• Have robust and effective monitoring of our systems 
• Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals 
• Managing IT budgets, forecasts, handling cash flow and enforcing cost-effectiveness 
• Evaluating risk, developing disaster recovery processes 
• Assuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations 
• Ensuring that our staff have the right tools to accomplish their work.

Ideal Profile
Skills Required:

• You possess a Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• You will have spent the last 4-5 years working in a DevOps environment and are now looking to establish yourself in a management position. 
• You will be an AWS expert and will have a robust knowledge of managing multiple environments. 
• You will have outstanding communication skills 
• You will have a passion for quality, and a desire to give our clients the best experience possible 
• You will be an active mentor and someone with experience in developing talent within your team.
• Expertise in DevOps and a good knowledge of Cloud Database (AWS, Azure) is a must
• You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
• You are highly goal driven and work well in fast-paced environments
• You are a strong mentor and coach who can build high-performing teams.
