Design Associate/Architect at Mindia Designs

Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site Design Associate/Architect role based in Lagos. We are looking for a Design Associate with unique blend of technical precision and creative flair.The successful candidate will collaborate on design projects, including conceptual development, space planning, and presentation creation.

Design & Concept Development

• Develop architectural layouts, space plans, and detailed design drawings.
• Create mood boards that clearly communicate concept direction, materiality, and overall design intent
• Translate brand and client requirements into functional, and aesthetically refined designs

Technical Visualization

• Produce accurate working drawings using AutoCAD
• Develop high-quality 3D models and renderings technical design drawings
• Prepare drawings and visuals suitable for client presentations, approvals, and site execution

Project Ownership & Coordination

• Manage small-scale projects independently from concept to completion
• Track design timelines, deliverables, and milestones
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure design intent is properly executed

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration skills for client interactions and team coordination
• Proficiency in Project Management to oversee timelines, budgets, and deliverables
• Expertise in Graphic Design and proficiency in design software for creating visual presentations
• Experience in Interior Design with a strong sense of spatial planning and aesthetics
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• Attention to detail and the ability to balance creative and practical design aspects
• Familiarity with materials, furniture, and modern design trends
