    Deputy Staion Manager

    Job Summary

    The retail station manager is responsible for day to day management and coordination of the Station sales, staffs and facilities. He is responsible for the strict implementation of company Policies and strategies aimed at achieving sales targets. He/she is responsible for accounting for products delivered to his station and retirement of sales proceeds to company designated Accounts. Assign, schedule and monitor the tasks of service station personnel.

    • Ensures cash are received from station attendants by Cashier for lodgement and reconcile with sales to ensure accuracy.
    • Maintain a decent business environment towards the actualization of professionalism and maximization of profits. Key Deliverables
    • Maintain good relationships with the vendors and suppliers.
    • Assign, schedule and monitor the tasks of service station personnel.

    • Monitor and supervise the Cashier and Station supervisor to ensure full compliance
    • . Answer and resolve customer needs and objectives.
    • Ensure joyous experience to customers and guests through cool pleasant services.
    • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and events to enhance quality in services
    • . Maintain inventory controls of Stock, items and products
    • . Maintain the service station premises in a neat and organized manner
    • . Ensures and Check pressures, volumes, densities and temperatures of product before Discharge.
    • Ensure staff compliance to dress codes and conduct codes.
    • Organise and arrange shifts and off days for all station staff through the station supervisor.
    • Monitor, supervise and organise the station, to interact with the customers and his subordinates. Maintain a healthy relationship with subordinates thereby, getting accurate information of the activities of the station
    • , Good knowledge of all products at the station.
    • Ensure all station activities are in accordance with the company rules and regulations.
    • Must act as the Chief sales Head i.e Ensuring edge over market competition.
    • Schedule and update the station in term of scarcity, to give feedback to the head office for effectiveness on all activities at the station.
    • Interact with the customer to get their views about the station.
    • Must retire each expense with an invoice.
    • Must know all the customers of the station (KYC).
    • Ensures a suggestion box around the station, which must be checked and analysed. In order to deter the pump attendance from crime.
    • Close monitoring of ledger to meter readings and all records with the station.
    • MAINTAIN A SAFETY CHECK LIST and report any abnormality immediately to appropriate Authority. Maintain Generators, Air conditioners, Fire extinguishers, pumping machines and all company properties at the station always.
    • Oversee Pump attendant, Cleaners and security personnel at the station through the supervisor
    •  Analytical/Technical Skills: The role of the Station Supervisor is a commercial marketing role and it is necessary that he/she demonstrates an ability to formulate and present actionable insight. Must therefore, portray exceptional analytical skills.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Should be an enthusiastic worker, consumer-oriented, have a passion for delivering meaningful social impact and simultaneously generating the business income, have excellent problem solving skills, possess an ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines. Will also be self-motivated and proactive, he will have an insatiable thirst for knowledge always keeping up with market trends, will be comfortable working in group settings, and will have an ability to remain calm under stress or uncertainty.
    • Leadership/People Skills: Has to have exceptional leadership skills. Will be able to move and influence a team into moving towards a unified vision and objective. Also possess a strong ability to form meaningful relationships with people, being very approachable and relatable.
    • Attention to Detail - Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
