The ideal candidate is to leverage on his/her relationships with high net worth individuals and institutions in championing deposit mobilization to the Company.
Job Functions:
To drive the deposit mobilization arm of the business
Identify target markets with identified volumes in order to drive high volumes of new funds to the Company
Manage financial risk as it relates to treasury operations
Work with the team to develop and implement a business development plan to improve the deposit mobilization and retention of deposit and also manage withdrawal attrition
Effective mobilization of funds from private sectors entities, individuals and corporate agencies
Support and oversee the development of innovative savings products in line with customer needs
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients and individual depositors
Advice client on funds status and generate new clientele on an on-going basis
Provides recommendation to enhance treasury policies and procedures
Meet monthly assigned targets and quota
Manage relationships with potential and existing customers and maintain high satisfaction level
Assist with cash flow forecasting
Qualifications & Key Requirements:
Minimum of B.Sc., its equivalent in Finance, Economics, Marketing or in a related field of study
Minimum five (5) years cognate experience from a reputable Financial Institution, Microfinance Bank or Commercial Bank
Sales Hunter, high energy level and hungry personality
Sound Risk Management experience and proven track record of being a successful Deposit Mobilizer
Strong business development skills
Up-to-date knowledge of investments product
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to drive deposit mobilization, retention of deposit and also manage withdrawal attrition
