Clinix Healthcare is seeking an experienced, skilled, and patient-focused Dentist to join our dental team at the Festac branch. We are committed to delivering high-quality oral healthcare services with professionalism, compassion, and excellence.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Carry out restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, bridges), extractions, scaling and polishing, and root canal treatments.
Provide preventive dental care, including fissure sealants, fluoride applications, and oral health education.
Manage dental emergencies such as pain, trauma, and infections.
Prescribe appropriate medications and advise patients on post-treatment care.
Collaborate with dental therapists, hygienists, and other healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary care.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation in the clinic management system.
Adhere to infection control, sterilization protocols, and radiation safety standards.
Promote oral health awareness and build long-term patient relationships.
Requirements & Skills
Excellent clinical skills in general dentistry with strong attention to detail.
Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centered approach especially with children and anxious patients.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy clinical environment.
Computer literate with proficiency in dental software and electronic records.
Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate (completed).
Minimum of 2–3 years post-qualification experience in a reputable dental clinic or hospital.
Additional certification in areas such as implantology, orthodontics, or endodontics is an added advantage.
