Demi Chef de Partie at EKO Hotels & Suites

Job Summary:

• As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will assist in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, supporting the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in maintaining exceptional kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items to exacting standards
• Assist in food preparation, plating, and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Collaborate with other chefs to ensure seamless service
• Develop skills and knowledge of international cuisine
• Participate in culinary events and promotions
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or Commis Chef
• Culinary degree or diploma
• Certification in food safety and hygiene
• Excellent cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen operations
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices
• Certification in culinary arts or related field
• Familiarity with kitchen management software
