Data Engineer at SnappyCX

Role Overview:

• The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop, and maintain a robust data pipeline system that seamlessly connects various applications to Firebase.
• This pipeline will further integrate with Google Analytics and other visualization platforms such as Sheets or Luca, while also leveraging BigQuery for advanced data processing and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipeline architecture to connect diverse applications to Firebase.
• Develop connectors and APIs to facilitate smooth data flow between different systems and Firebase.
• Integrate Google Analytics into the data pipeline to gather insights and metrics efficiently.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Utilize BigQuery for data processing, transformation, and analysis to derive actionable insights.
• Optimize data pipeline performance for speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary fixes or improvements.
• Document pipeline processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in designing and building data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in Firebase, Google Analytics, BigQuery, and other relevant data technologies.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data modeling principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior experience in cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar is a plus.
