Customs Documentation Manager at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• Responsible for managing import and export documentation and customs clearance processes within the control tower.
• Ensures accurate, compliant, and timely processing of shipping documents while coordinating with customs authorities, shipping lines, and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import/export documentation and customs clearance
• Ensure compliance with Nigeria Customs regulations and international shipping requirements
• Coordinate shipment documentation and track cargo clearance status
• Liaise with customs agents, shipping lines, and terminal operators to resolve issues
• Apply INCOTERMS correctly in all transactions
• Maintain accurate documentation records for audit and compliance
• Provide shipment updates and operational reports
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and turnaround time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding, customs documentation, or logistics operations
• At least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance processes and INCOTERMS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics/customs systems.
