    Customer Service Assistant

    Overview

    • In this role, you will be responsible for attending to customers, taking orders, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience through prompt service, professionalism, and product knowledge.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Greet customers warmly and answer questions about menu items.
    • Take and process food and drink orders accurately.
    • Ensure customers receive their orders correctly and promptly.
    • Handle payments using POS systems and issue receipts.
    • Maintain cleanliness of the service counter and dining area.
    • Assist with packing takeout and delivery orders neatly.
    • Resolve customer complaints or escalate to a supervisor when needed.
    • Restock service items like napkins, cutlery, and takeaway packaging.
    • Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
    • Support team members during peak hours for smooth operations.
    • Actively promote products and upsell to increase customer spend.

    Qualifications

    • Basic computer & Mathematics knowledge is an advantage.

    Experience:

    • Customer service or sales-related role, preferably within food service, retail, or hospitality.
    • Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with customers and drive sales through upselling or product promotion.
