Gamma Mobility is seeking a Credit & Risk Associate to support the company’s risk management framework by assessing credit applications, monitoring financial risks, and implementing strategies to minimize defaults. The ideal candidate will analyze customer creditworthiness, enforce risk control measures, and ensure adherence to company policies in rental, leasing and financing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate all customer applications, ensuring compliance with company rental, lease and financing policies.
Ensure adequate KYC verification, fraud detection, and affordability analysis for loan applicants.
Leverage alternative credit scoring models to enhance decision-making.
Monitor the credit portfolio to identify risk exposure and default patterns.
Analyze trends in repayment behavior, overdue accounts, and customer delinquency rates.
Implement early warning systems to flag high-risk customers.
Support in developing and refining risk models to optimize Gamma Mobility’s leasing and credit offerings.
Ensure adherence to regulatory credit policies, financial compliance, and internal risk controls.
Investigate and report cases of fraud, identity theft, or financial misrepresentation.
Work with law enforcement or security teams on fraud cases when necessary.
Generate credit risk reports on portfolio performance, delinquency trends, and recovery success rates.
Use data analytics tools to evaluate risk exposure and suggest risk mitigation strategies.
Provide regular updates to the Credit & Risk Manager on operational risks.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge of financial regulations and risk management principles.
At least 2-3 years of experience in credit risk management, financial analysis, or a related field, preferably in the gig economy, financial services, or technology sectors.
Strong understanding of credit assessment, risk evaluation, and financial forecasting.
Experience in assessing the creditworthiness of individuals, gig workers, or businesses, particularly in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate financial risk
