Credit Risk Analyst at OmniRetail Technology

Responsibilities

• Collect relevant data from financial statements, credit reports, market trends, and industry benchmarks and use statistical models and analytical tools to evaluate the risk associated with lending to different borrowers or sectors.
• Regularly test and validate models to ensure their accuracy and reliability in predicting credit risk.
• Provide recommendations on risk mitigation strategies, such as setting credit limits, requiring collateral, or adjusting interest rates.
• Assist in the development and refinement of credit policies and guidelines to manage risk effectively and ensure that all credit risk activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all credit risk assessments, decisions, and actions taken to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Compare the organization’s credit risk profile against industry benchmarks to identify areas for improvement and ensure competitive positioning.
• Ensure that all credit risk management practices align with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Ability to analyze the creditworthiness of potential borrowers by reviewing financial statements, credit history, and other relevant data.
• Ability to assess the likelihood of a borrower defaulting on a loan or credit, considering both quantitative and qualitative factors.
