Credit Officer

Job Description
- The Credit Officer will manage credit assessment, loan processing, risk evaluation, and portfolio monitoring to ensure quality loan disbursement and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct credit analysis and assess customer loan applications.
- Visit and verify customers’ businesses and collateral.
- Prepare credit reports and recommendations for approval.
- Monitor loan repayment and support recovery efforts.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies and CBN lending guidelines.
Requirements
- HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 1 – 3 years experience in credit and loan management.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Skills:
- Good knowledge of micro-lending
- Risk assessment skills
- Strong communication and reporting.
