Credit Officer at Crescent MFB

Job Description

• The Credit Officer will manage credit assessment, loan processing, risk evaluation, and portfolio monitoring to ensure quality loan disbursement and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit analysis and assess customer loan applications.
• Visit and verify customers’ businesses and collateral.
• Prepare credit reports and recommendations for approval.
• Monitor loan repayment and support recovery efforts.
• Ensure compliance with credit policies and CBN lending guidelines.

Requirements

• HND / BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 1 – 3 years experience in credit and loan management.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Skills:

• Good knowledge of micro-lending
• Risk assessment skills
• Strong communication and reporting.
