The Credit Control Officer is responsible for managing and recovering outstanding debts from patients, corporate clients, and HMOs, ensuring timely payments and minimizing financial risk to the hospital.
The role ensures that all credit transactions are properly tracked, reconciled, and reported, while maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support financial sustainability.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum Of 2—5 years experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or financial management, preferably in a healthcare or service-based industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, billing systems, and financial regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g„ QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforrns).
High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines under pressure.
