Job Summary

• We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Credit adminstration Officer to join our team in a finance company.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring sound credit portfolio management in line with the bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and analyse financial information to determine credit risk.
• Conduct background checks and verify the authenticity of client documents.
• Recommend approval or rejection of loan requests based on accurate risk assessment.
• Monitor and follow up on loan repayments to ensure timely collections.
• Maintain updated records of loan applications, approvals, and disbursements.
• Prepare credit reports and present findings to management.
• Support the development and implementation of credit policies and risk control measures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage responsible borrowing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in credit analysis or loan processing, preferably in a microfinance or financial institution.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and credit management software.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Salary
N500,000 per month.
