    Creative Director

    Job Summary

    • The Creative Director is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping the organization’s brand voice, communication culture, creative vision, and market presence.
    • This role sits at the executive table and ensures that all internal and external communication reflects excellence, clarity, and consistency.
    • The Creative Director serves as the Revenue Lead for Events, Creative Services, and Brand Communication driving business growth by attracting clients, securing partnerships, and overseeing high-impact creative and event solutions that generate income for the organization.
    • The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, strong agency management skills, creative depth, exceptional communication skills, and proven business development capabilities.

    Key Responsibilities
    Executive Leadership & Communication Culture:

    • Establish and maintain a unified communication standard across all departments and levels.
    • Serve as the company’s authority on branding, messaging, communication tone, and visual identity.
    • Advise executives, managers, and teams on best practices for internal and external communication.
    • Develop and enforce brand guidelines and communication protocols used company-wide.
    • Oversee corporate communications including press materials, official statements, public messaging, and thought leadership content.
    • Foster a culture of clarity, transparency, and professionalism in all forms of communication.

    Creative Vision & Brand Strategy:

    • Define the creative vision and ensure it reflects the organization’s mission, goals, and market positioning.
    • Lead creative development for campaigns, content, production, and marketing materials.
    • Supervise creative teams; design, content, production and ensure high-quality output.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels, print materials, events, and corporate communication.
    • Translate business objectives into strong creative concepts and brand narratives.

    Events Leadership:

    • Provide executive leadership for event strategy, execution, and creative direction.
    • Conceptualize and supervise high-impact corporate events, exhibitions, productions, and activations.
    • Ensure all events reinforce the brand and serve as revenue-driving opportunities.
    • Oversee end-to-end event planning, client communication, budgeting, and delivery.

    Business Development & Income Generation:

    • Lead revenue generation for the Events, Creative, and Communications arms of the business.
    • Identify and pursue new clients, partners, and business opportunities.
    • Develop compelling proposals, pitch strategies, and partnership models to convert leads into revenue.
    • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with high-value clients, brands, agencies, and institutions.
    • Set income targets and work with relevant teams to achieve or exceed them.
    • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and strategic meetings to drive visibility and business growth.

    Strategic Management:

    • Align creative, communication, and event strategies with organizational goals.
    • Provide executive insights on market trends, audience behavior, and competitive positioning.
    • Oversee departmental budgets, resource planning, and ROI analysis.
    • Ensure operational excellence across all units under the directorate

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Creative Arts, Media, or a related field. Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
    • At least 12 years of senior-level experience in Advertising agencies, Branding, Communications, Creative Direction, or Events.
    • Proven track record of income generation and client acquisition.
    • Strong leadership presence and ability to communicate at executive and board levels.
    • Outstanding storytelling, presentation, visual communication, and strategic thinking skills.
    • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple large-scale projects.
    • A strong professional network with the capacity to bring in new business opportunities.
