Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Cost Engineer/Estimator to provide cost estimating, cost control, forecasting, benchmarking, and commercial support for major oil & gas  projects.
• The ideal candidate will develop accurate project estimates, monitor project costs, analyze cost performance, and support project controls throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and project cost plans.
• Develop and maintain estimating methodologies, cost databases, and benchmarking tools.
• Monitor project costs, forecasts, and cash flow throughout project execution.
• Perform cost analysis, variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare cost reports, project performance reports, and management dashboards.
• Support tendering activities, bid evaluations, and commercial reviews.
• Collaborate with Project Controls, Engineering, Procurement, and -Construction teams to ensure accurate cost tracking.
• Identify project risks and opportunities impacting project costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in cost estimating, cost control, forecasting, benchmarking, cost analysis, and reporting within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience supporting Project Controls on large EPC/EPIC oil & gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, budgeting, earned value management (EVM), and cost forecasting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project control tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, EcoSys, CostX, or similar software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
