Cost Accountant at Givanas Group of Companies

Job Summary

The Cost Accountant is responsible for analyzing, tracking, and controlling production costs within the food factory. The role supports accurate cost allocation, pricing decisions, and financial insights that drive efficiency and profitability across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze raw material, labor, and overhead costs; prepare variance reports (actual vs. standard)
• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; ensure proper cost allocation across production lines
• Support annual budgeting and production forecasting; recommend cost-saving and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements; assist in internal and external audits
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to support pricing strategies and profitability analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACA/ACCA/CMA certification preferred
• 3–5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or food manufacturing
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Tally) and advanced Excel
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
