Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing a variety of dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality meals that delight our guests and uphold our culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
• Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner for service
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas
• Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to management
• Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cook or similar role
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
• Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school training is a plus
• Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain)
