Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of local and continental dishes.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented according to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Monitor food stock levels and report shortages when necessary.
• Store food items properly and ensure freshness of ingredients.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist in menu planning and meal preparation schedules.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is properly handled and maintained.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE qualification or relevant culinary experience preferred.
• Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
• Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Ability to prepare both local and continental meals is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
