• Prepare and cook meals according to the restaurant’s recipes, standards, and portion sizes.
• Ensure all dishes are presented neatly and consistently before serving.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Monitor food stock levels and inform the inventory or kitchen manager when supplies are low.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations strictly.
• Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control where necessary.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and ensure regular maintenance checks.
• Manage meal prep tasks, including cutting, marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients.
• Work with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food service during peak hours.
• Reduce food waste through proper storage, labeling, and portion control.
