Content Creator at Workhour Media

Workhour Media is looking for a skilled and creative Content Creator to join our team.

The ideal candidate should be confident creating high-quality photo and video content for brands, with a strong understanding of social media and visual storytelling.

You’ll work on content for Workhour Media and our clients across different industries, from planning and shooting to editing and publishing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and execute photo and video content shoots
• Create engaging Reels, short-form videos, product and lifestyle content
• Capture high-quality photos, videos and B-roll at client locations
• Edit photos and videos for social media and digital campaigns
• Create simple social media graphics when required
• Prepare, format and publish content across social media platforms
• Interpret creative briefs, scripts and content ideas effectively
• Collaborate with the creative team on campaigns and client projects

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong photography and videography skills
• Good video editing skills, particularly for short-form social media content
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop or similar tools
• A strong eye for lighting, composition and visual storytelling
• Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok and other major social media platforms
• Ability to turn creative briefs and ideas into engaging visual content
• Access to a good-quality smartphone and/or camera suitable for professional content creation
• Creative, organised, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be based in Ibadan and available for client shoots up to 3–4 days per week when required

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in content creation, photography, videography, social media or a related creative role
• Demonstrable experience creating content for brands, businesses or social media platforms
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous photography, videography, Reels or other relevant creative work
• Previous experience creating commercial or client content is an advantage
