    Construction Manager

    ROLES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting
    • Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
    • Implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure that construction activities and materials meet the required standards.
    • Conduct inspections, perform quality checks, and address any deficiencies or non-compliance promptly.
    • Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers, engineers, and executives, to provide updates on project progress, issues, and risks.
    • Liaise with external stakeholders, such as government agencies, local authorities, and community representatives, to ensure compliance with regulations and address any concerns.
    • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the construction projects. Monitor and manage project risks throughout the construction phase, including safety hazards, environmental concerns, and unforeseen circumstances.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is typically required.
    • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in construction project management, preferably in the telecommunications or infrastructure industry, is highly desirable.
    • Strong knowledge of construction principles, methods, and practices is essential.
    • Familiarity with base station equipment, tower installation, antenna systems, and related telecommunications infrastructure is advantageous.
    • Proficiency in using project management software and tools is also important.
    • Excellent leadership abilities to effectively manage construction teams and coordinate with various stakeholders.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey project information, instructions, and reports clearly and professionally.
    • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to identify and solve problems, make decisions under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental requirements relevant to construction projects.
    • Knowledge of permit acquisition processes and ability to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations.
    • A strong commitment to safety standards and the ability to implement and enforce safety protocols on construction sites.
