Computer to Plate (CTP) Operator at Stresert Services Limited

Our client, a reputable packaging company is looking to fill the role of CTP Operator

Responsibilities

• Format and proof text and images submitted by designers into finished pages that can be printed.
• Manage plate schedules
• Impose files to binder’s templates
• Record data collection and output Inspect plates for quality
• Transport plates to presses, load and verify plates in auto loader
• Maintain processors and chemistry changes.
• Remove trash, keep work area organized and clean.

Other duties as needed

Requirements

• Min of B.Sc.
• Min of 4-5 years of cognate experience as CTP Operator in a printing company
• Must be a computer savvy.
• Must be well versed with CtP (Computer to Plate) operations using machine name “Heidelberg Suprasetter A106 CtP system”
• Must be well versed in Heidelberg Suprasetter A106 CtP system with Glunz & Jensen Kylin 85T Plate processor (Thermal and conventional plates).
• Must be well versed in making Printed & Unprinted Dummies for customer approval.
• Must have the basic knowledge of maintaining the plate processor (in terms of changing & cleaning the chemistry involved & rubber rollers)
