Position Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to maintain and enhance the aesthetic appeal of our outdoor spaces.
• The ideal candidate will possess a passion for plants and landscaping, with the ability to create and maintain beautiful gardens.

Responsibilities

• Garden Maintenance: Regularly tend to gardens, including watering, weeding, pruning, and mulching to ensure optimal health and appearance of plants.
• Lawn Care: Mow, edge, and fertilize lawns as needed to maintain a neat and manicured appearance.
• Planting: Select, plant, and transplant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other greenery in accordance with landscape plans and design aesthetics.
• Soil Management: Assess soil quality and composition, amend soil as necessary, and ensure proper drainage for healthy plant growth.
• Pest and Disease Control: Identify and address pest infestations, diseases, and other issues that may affect plant health, implementing appropriate control measures.
• Seasonal Maintenance: Prepare gardens and outdoor areas for seasonal changes, including planting seasonal flowers, winterizing plants, and protecting delicate vegetation from frost.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and operate gardening tools and equipment safely and effectively, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Landscape Design: Assist in the development and implementation of landscape design plans, suggesting plant selections and layout arrangements to achieve desired aesthetic outcomes.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of garden maintenance activities, plant inventory, and resource usage for reporting and planning purposes.
