Job Description

• Ensure that the marketing objectives of the bank are appropriately defined,identified and qualified and that plans and resources are advised tmeet corporate objectives
• coordinates credit and marketing units
• Assists in formulating and reviewing credit policy for consideration
• Articulate customers relationship policy
• Prepares and submits department's budget and execution
• The develop and recommend opening of cash unites or brand network
• Ttrain ,appraise and develop staff of the department
• Ensure effective credit management of the bank
• Implementation of the bank's credit policy
• Ensure compliance tregulatory standard in terms of credit portfolimanagement
• Ensure that adequate security of credit guarantee and collateral items are maintained
• Ensure effective appraisal and monitoring of loans customers tensure zertolerance tnon performing loans
• Ensure prompt product development according tdemand and trend
• Ensure monthly loan performance appraisal
• Ensure targets are given and reviewed periodically
• Ensure effective file management of loans /credit
• Ensure effective file management of correspondence between the bank and credit customers
• Periodic performance report of the products and staff management
• Liaises with the consultants in the delinquent loan management of the bank
• Attends management meeting and serves as secretary Credit & Risk management Committee
• Takes responsibilities of loans recommended for approval
• Hold periodic meetings with the staff on issue concerning the department.
• Ensures proper effective and objective customers address and business address rectification is crossed over before loan disbursement recommendation

Qualifications

• Must possess a certificate in Micro-finance Banking issued by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (ClBN).
• Proved experience in training and research is an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on Micro-finance banking experience in credit and marketing
• A minimum of Bachelor's degree/HND in business, accounting, finance, Statistics, economics or any field.

• Knowledge of micro, small and medium enterprise market.

• Strong general management and people skills
