Job Summary

• We seek experienced Coiled Tubing Unit Operators to operate our state-of-the-art coiled tubing equipment.
• The role requires hands-on operation of CT units, surface equipment, and downhole tools in various well intervention applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate coiled tubing units and associated surface equipment
• Conduct equipment pre-job inspections and testing
• Execute coiled tubing operations under the engineer's supervision
• Monitor and control job parameters during operations
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ensure strict adherence to safety and operational procedures
• Maintain accurate operational records and reports
• Support equipment rigging up and rigging down activities
• Assist in equipment transportation and mobilization
• Participate in safety meetings and training programmes

Requirements

• Technical diploma / HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in coiled tubing operations
• Experience with CT unit operation and control systems
• Knowledge of high-pressure pumping equipment
• Understanding of safety systems and procedures
• Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in challenging field conditions
• Strong safety awareness and commitment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in Nigerian oil & gas operations
• Basic well control training
• Equipment maintenance experience
• First aid and safety certifications
• Experience with multiple CT unit types

Technical Skills:

• CT unit operation and control
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• BOP operation and testing
• Equipment troubleshooting and repair
• Safety systems operation
• Basic instrumentation and controls
• Equipment maintenance procedures.
